About Buger

A small inland town

As you drive up the motorway towards Alcudia, the towns of Campanet and Búger can be seen sitting on top of their respective hills almost guarding the areas. Surrounded by agricultural land, this small town offers peace and tranquility, apart from Saturday morning when the market is held in the main square. Just outside of Búger you will find the Menestralia glass factory, founded in 1965, you can watch the glass being blown by the expert craftsmen who have honed their skills over many years. Nearby you will also find the Black Vulture Conservation Foundation which has helped preserve and increase the numbers of vultures here on the island, from a mere 19 when it began in the 1980´s to over 250. The Black Vulture is the largest raptor in Europe weighing in at up to 14kgs, and with a wing span of some two and a half metres. We also deliver and collect from Palma Airport
