About Cala Ratjada
North Eastern beach resort
Cala Ratjada is the second most important fishing port in Mallorca. Tt is situated in the north east, in the area called Capdepera. It is popular with tourists, particularly Germans, and has several lovely beaches and a beautiful promenade with lots of bars and restaurants. It's a great family resort. The old port is still quite traditional with many fishing boats including the traditional Mallorquin "Llauts", the old style wooden boats. There is also a ferry service from Cala Ratjada to Menorca.
