About Puerto Pollensa

Puerto Pollensa, the jewel of the north

This once small fishing village becomes more popular year after year. Despite growing in size, Puerto Pollensa manages to keep its charm and unique identity. Focusing on being family friendly, you won´t find too many night clubs, nor the neon lights and fast food outlets. The local restaurants serve good quality, reasonably priced food, but look for the restaurants a couple of roads back from the seafront. The seafront has been partially pedestrianised, and is closed to vehicles from 14:30 until 05:00, although there is a two way cycle path, which is open all hours, there is a speed limit of 20kmp, but be careful, as this is not always adhered to. There are children´s play areas on the beach, which stretches for over 2kms, from the military base to the far end at Llenaire. From Puerto Pollensa there are some lovely walks. An evening stroll along the pine walk with a promise of a cool glass of wine at the Illa D´Or is a popular one, or the more strenuous walks to Cala Boquer, and over the hills to Cala San Vicente, reward you with stunning views and a bit of getting back to nature. Take plenty of water and sun cream. We also deliver and collect from Palma Airport
