About Escorca
One of the highest mountain towns in Mallorca
Escorca, located in the north east of Mallorca, is a town right in the heart of the Tramuntana mountain range. It is home to the highest mountains on the island and, because of this, is the least populated area of Mallorca. Less than 300 people live in the country houses and around the Lluch monastery. The resevoirs, Cuber and Gorg Blau, are also in Escorca. These provide water for the island and are also beautiful places to visit and walk around.
